Christmas Nights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens

The following pictures are of the Christmas lights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens taken in January of 2013. The place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Atlanta during Christmas time. For the first two pictures I actually tried out the Pocket Pod. The tool is basically a replacement for a tripod. Easier to walk around with one of these in your pocket then a full tripod. It takes the tension from the cable to remove the vibration from your hands. You can see in the first two pictures that you actually get some good night shots. Granted you wouldn’t want to go more than 10 to 20 seconds with one of these. At the end of the day, for night shots, you can’t beat a tripod.
