Chicago In Winter: Ice Breaker

This January my wife and I decided to take a little road trip in the mid west . After stopping in St. Louis for the night we traveled up to Chicago. It was about 6 degrees for the high for the days we were up there, but that didn’t stop us from getting out and taking some pictures.

The first picture comes from the end of Navy pier around 3 in the afternoon. Shockingly we didn’t have any company out on the pier, what with the light snow and a temperature around 2 degrees. This was a shot of an ice breaker coming into the bay past the breakers.
