Bahamas Trip: Mists

My wife and I recently took a trip to the Bahamas for our Babymoon. We stayed at the Grand Lucayan on the Grand Bahama Island. Since it was all about the baby and spending time together I didn’t get out and take a lot of photos. That being said, I did get a couple of great shots when it was raining one afternoon, and again at night while my wife relaxed in the room.

This image comes from my night shoot along the beach in front of the hotel. I was shooting from the east away from the moon so my ISO was bumped all the way up to 800 for a 30 second shot. I’m pretty happy with the colors of the rocks and the mist from the waves crashing. I was going for a surreal and soft landscape with a sharp accents of the rocks as a focal point. Beach, Night Photography, Long Exposure
