2014 Holiday Lights at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens

This year was the first year that I got to take my son to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for the Christmas Lights exhibit. While he’s only 4 months old he was captivated by the lights, especially any that twinkled. I can’t wait to bring him next year when he’s old enough to watch the trains and lights set to music. Unfortunately, you can tell the sensor in my Nikon D40 is starting to degrade. It’s been almost a decade of use, so it’s not surprising. These days I get significantly more noise than I used to when shooting at night. On the bright side, I’m getting a D5200 for Christmas. On the down side, it showed up the day after we went to the lights show. How’s that for timing. I hope you enjoy my pictures from this year, and if you would like to see some from previous year please check out this list of older Christmas Posts.
