Not long after buying our house, the large Dogwood tree in our front bed split in half and promptly died. As a result we had to replace it with something new. Since the bed was fairly large we decided to go with two trees. The first is a River Birch at the front end of the bed, and the second was a tiny little plum tree for the back.
Fast forward a couple of years and our tiny Plum Tree has reached about ten foot tall, and every year in the spring it flowers beautifully. This year I decided to catch some images of the flowers before they were all gone. I really do love Georgia in the spring. There are so many flowering trees throughout the neighborhoods and parks, that it really kicks of the Spring season beautifully.
